A centre dedicated to three key themes
IMT Nord Europe’s Centre for Education, Research and Innovation in Digital Systems (CERI SN) focuses its research on three scientific areas:
Autonomous and resilient systems
People, interactions and decisions
Modelling and optimisation of complex systems
A response to social and technological challenges
CERI SN focuses on the fusion of physical and digital worlds through the modelling (and optimisation) of complex systems, achieving more fluid interactions with humans, and the design secure communicating systems.
The Research Centre is committed to academic excellence in innovative and distinctive subjects through applied research, in response to societal and technological challenges, and a capacity to contribute to a broad Technology Readiness Level (TRL) spectrum.

The structure of CERI SN is designed to enable systemic research focused data, from collection to decision-making, including for the following:
- The protection, well-being, and safety of people
- Sustainable development through the digitalisation of companies and optimisation of processes
The Innovation Platform Division (PPI), led by engineers and technicians, supports research professors to advance the TRL of their research projects.
