POPCOM (Platform for the development and OPtimisation of new COMposite processes)

Materials & Processes

POPCOM is IMT Nord Europe’s Platform for the development and Optimisation of COMposite processes. It provides relevant industries with an updated advanced manufacturing platform for design/manufacturing/control support to accelerate their developments and ensure lasting competitiveness.

It integrates various high-speed manufacturing technologies for structural composites (T-RTM, HS-RTM, C-RTM processes, stamping/thermo-compression, overmoulding, etc.), digital virtual engineering tools (modelling and simulation of manufacturing processes and mechanical dimensioning of parts under severe stress) and enables advanced characterisation of use performance and non-destructive monitoring of structural integrity.

POPCOM is your key to developing composite solutions throughout the entire design-manufacturing-control value chain.
