The laboratory is equipped with various types of equipment to identify and characterise organic and inorganic materials such as the following:
Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) coupled with a Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectrometer (FTIR)
Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
Fast differential Scanning Calorimetry (FSC)
Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA)
Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectrometer (FTIR) coupled with microscopy
Ultra-violet visible (UV-Vis) spectrometer.
