Thermal Analysis & Spectrometry Laboratory

The laboratory is equipped with various types of equipment to identify and characterise organic and inorganic materials such as the following:

  1. Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) coupled with a Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectrometer (FTIR)

  2. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)

  3. Fast differential Scanning Calorimetry (FSC)

  4. Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA)

  5. Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectrometer (FTIR) coupled with microscopy

  6. Ultra-violet visible (UV-Vis) spectrometer.
