Lorenzo Hermez contributes to teaching machine learning, signal processing, and AI for healthcare in engineering programs, and develop research activities within the HIDE division of CERI SN, with a focus on human-centered learning models and augmented environments.

Earlier, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Scool team at Centre Inria de l’Université de Lille (France). This position is part of the ANR BIP-UP project, which aims to determine whether it is possible to personalize patient follow-up after bariatric surgery. His background includes a PhD in Signal, Image, Automation, and Robotics from Institut Polytechnique de Paris, and an MSc from Telecom SudParis.
