Rémi Gautier is an Assistant Professor at Institut Mines-Télécom Nord Europe (IMTNE) in the Energy, Fluids and Transfer (EFT) research unit within the Centre for Energy Environment lab (CERI EE). He investigates fluid mechanics, heat transfer and adsorption phenomena using high fidelity Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) approaches. His research focuses on the intensification of mass and/or heat transfer to improve energy systems and processes such as heat exchangers, gas separation processes, sensors, drying systems… Regarding teaching activities, he is a pedagogical supervisor of the fundamentals in energy (fluid mechanics and heat transfer) in the Energy and Environment program and delivers lectures in fluid mechanics and computational fluid dynamics.
